McCain: CIA did not tell Congress the truth about Levinson

Sen. John McCain joined CNN's "State of the Union" from Kiev, Ukraine, on Sunday after the Arizona Republican addressed thousands of protesters who are angry over the Ukrainian government's decision to backpedal away from an agreement with the European Union.

McCain spoke about a range of issues happening around the globe, and suggested the Central Intelligence Agency was not truthful to Congress about former FBI agent Bob Levinson, who went missing in Iran seven years ago.

Here are five noteworthy points from the interview.

Given the number of loose lips in Congress I don't fault the CIA.Congress had better start learning that matters involving national security is not for world news.

What words of wisdom could a senator from Arizona pass on to the Ukrainians about joining the EU which the US isn't even a member? Perhaps he and his wife are on a "Fact-finding visit" to Eastern Europe this Christmas.

Sen. John McCain never "finds facts", Portland. He just keeps on parroting his right-wing mumbo-jumbo wherever he goes!!!

I wish to Kingdom Come that this stupid Senator from Arizona whose name is similar to mine would just stay out of the limelight and just shut up at least a while. He already embarrassed me to no end in Kiev today by spewing his senseless speech over the "patriotism" of those idiotic, brainwashed pro-European demonstrators there.

I guess the problems in the US are so out of reach to get resolved so the government is outsourcing its self to taking care of the WORLD and ignoring the US. Seems they would rather spend billions in freeloader countries and suck more money from tax payers,.. then help the tax payers by not wasting our money in chits hole worthless countries. 3 more years...

3 more years.. will the US survive?

Once again, the reading comprehension skills of rightwingers proves astonishing.

Levinson went missing in 2007. You know, when Baby Huey was president? The same corrupt administration that outed a covert CIA agent (causing irreparable harm to all the agents in the field) - something for which no one went to jail despite being a crime that people in the past have been executed for - "coincidentally" lost agents like Levinson ag the same time due to rightwing criminal incompetence.

Thank GOD we have a president whose loyalties are to this country, not to the Saudi royals and for-profit wars where getting US soldiers killed earned traitors like Cheney millions!
