Kerry: Saudi Arabia OK with international military strike on Syria

By CNN's Elise Labott and Steve Almasy

U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry, speaking Sunday from Paris, where he met with Arab League ministers, said Saudi Arabia has approved international military intervention in Syria.

"They support the strike," Kerry said after meeting with Saudi foreign minister Saud al-Faisal.

Saudi Arabia is a diplomatic heavyweight in the Arab world, but hasn't publicly called for an international military reprisal after a reported chemical weapons attack last month by the Syrian military against rebels.

There is noticeably a bundle to know about this. I assume you made certain nice points in options also.

Kerry, Mccain and friends need to shut up. Kerry you need to realize the only solitary reason you represented the people was because you are pretty terrible at your job. By accident you hit on the only really good solution to this and in the same sentence said you dont believe it will work . You are not the guy for this job. The only reason this is not an untenable mess is because the people fought you every step. There is a time for warmongering, and that is when you have the international support your gaff has. Put someone in charge that wont waste the time they have to lay out terms being a negative nancy and unconstructive.

The filthy rich Saudis want Musliums to be killed free and clear without lifting a single finger...I fail to understand how the Muslium World allows itself to be put in that situation.

Sure the Saudis are Sunnis. These are two Islamic sects determined to dominate or kill the other. We best not get into this.

We shouldn't be the mercenary army for the Saudi's again. If they want a fight, let them do it themselves.

Sunnis are fighting against Assad. Al-queda is sunni organization. Saudi Arabia is a sunni kingdom. No wonder Saudi will be OK with strike against Assad.

America is the root of all terror. America has invaded sixty countries since world war 2.
In 1953 America overthrow Iran's democratic government Mohammad Mosaddegh and installed a brutal dictator Shah. America helped Shah of Iran to establish secret police and killed thousands of Iranian people.
During Iran-Iraq war evil America supported Suddam Hossain and killed millions of Iranian people. In 1989, America, is the only country ever, shot down Iran's civilian air plane, killing 290 people.
In 2003,America invaded Iraq and killed 1,000,000+ innocent Iraqi people and 4,000,000+ Iraqi people were displaced.
Now America is a failed state with huge debt. Its debt will be 22 trillion by 2015.

Nothing but lies & exaggerations. As long as Muslims are killing their fellow brothers, the USA will support whomever it shall be.

It still beats my imagination why the Arab world are waiting for America to do their job. Assad hav been killing thousands of Syrians, and the Arabs are just watching. The only thing that hurts me is that if eventually America intervenes, and something goes wrong, the will change language that America is fighting Islam.

Saudis engage in combat? With what? Will they mount rocket launchers on their Rolls Royce s?
Sure, they cheer us on (the USA). "You" go take care of it while we sit in our over indulgent society and do nothing. Will the Saudis refuel our planes and ships at no cost? The VERY least they could offer! I will bet they won't! "Bring your VISA card" if you land for refueling in Saudi Arabia! We will charge you 75 cents extra to use your card at the pump!
