It certianly seems that is what they are and have been doing and trying to do i.e. working outside the law or weaponizing the law to take away physical & mental freedom from citizens & would be voters so they cannot have a meaningful say in the military industrial complex, how shameless it is to shoot members of the press for sport and get payed to do so including unlimited and never ending benifits for a few hundred days of service with zero reasponsability.

Has the thought crossed your minds that perhaps Wiki Leaks is behind these activities? Getting people planted into third party government contractors such as Booz Allen and see what happens. Who knows how many they have planted. How else can you explain a relatively low level IT ee' such as Snowden stealing so much information in less than 3 months employment .

i believe snowden & manning were led into the actions they took by a desire for notority / a pat on the back for their uncovering the sins of the U.S.government / America. I see neither man as a hero, yet not as a traitor. I believe they both signed contracts that they broke and should be held accountable for that action/s. As i recall, had Snowden truly wanted to inform the American public regarding NSA's actions that may or may not have been illegal,he could have done so and could have used the protection of the "whistle blower" laws of the U.S. to aid in his defence in court. Something he will not be able to use in Russia, or any south american country.

A Tale of Two Idiots sounds more appropriate. One released some embarrassing cables that have already been largely forgotten about. The other released generalized information about how our intelligence agencies collect information, and what they collect should be no surprise to anyone.

The sooner we forget about these losers, the sooner we can get on to real issues, like what scary wardrobe Lady GagMe is gonna be wearing next..

We simply must not allow these traitors to live. Since we have Manning in custody, we need to just execute him. As for Snowden, the best way to handle it is to send in our SEAL teams and shoot him dead. We will then see who else wants to f-ck with us.

Both are naïve as are most Americans in believing that the Government is an all caring provider. The world we live in is dangerous with those that seek the destruction of everything and everyone in order to meet an allusive order of end times. What made America great was not our leadership but the voice of reason through the masses. By exposing those in power for spying on their own is courageous even while destructive to the very foundations of our nation. Are we so gullible to believe that espionage is conducted only by rogue countries even as others tap into our infrastructure, banks, military think tanks and yes, yours and my personal emails? Without checks and balances in the US Government, we are only worthy of a third world dictatorship yet there must be a means to protect this valuable nation from tranny and external threats. Hence the need for offensive actions but with balanced response to ensure the masses are provided for.

They are both traitors. They both deserve the firing squad, but since we are not at war (except with Islam) will hopefully rot their lives away in Leavenworth,

Good posting, Randy. Both Edward Snowden and Bradley Manning are heroes but try telling that to the ignorant slobs here who see them as "traitors" who need to be "shot on sight". All these ignoramuses who rant against these men are only showing off their stupidity. In fact, if being stupid was a virtue, these anti-Snowden, anti-Manning ignoramuses would be living saints!!!

Heros? Snowden LEFT THE COUNTRY. If he had any nads, he would have obtained a lawyer or lawyers and then spilled his guts on the very soil he smeared.. You don't yell fire in a crowded theater and expect to be high fived after. As for Manning, he's just a troulbed soul who doesn't care for the United States in any way shape or form. Both of them are far from being heros. If people like me are consideredd "Ignorant slobs" for our view on it, then you are a disgusting, bottom feeding poster child for everything wrong in this world today. May KARMA strkie you with the worst that can happen to an indvidual.
