Thousands of US troops arrive in Israel

Thousands of US troops arrive in Israel to begin a joint military exercise with Israeli forces, testing the country's missile defense systems. In all, the exercise will involve 3,500 US troops at a cost of $30 million. They'll be training over three weeks, in parts of Israel, Europe and the Mediterranean. Chris Lawrence reports on whether this exercise is sending a message to Iran on the strength of ties between the U.S. and Israel.

Three THOUSAND, 500 is NOT "thousands"?
In my world, 2 or more THOUSAND is "thousands" (plural).

      Failed 1st grade arithmetic-English, eh?

USA is on record as assisting Israel's nuclear weapons program, in violation of the non-proliferation treaty. If Israel attacks Iran, USA is effectively a co-attacker, and a legal target for a military response.

Umm, no. Israel did not sign the NPT and their nuclear program development dates from the late 60s, before the NPT even existed.

There seems to be a historical pattern that whenever the US comes to the aid of God's people (israel), it augers well for the nation. It is not a political move but a biblical one which YHWH honors, just as HE did during the time when Egypt and Babylon served as Israel's protector.

Ask God how it all works when we get to heaven. I believe it has something to do with honoring God and believing in Him when He said, "Those that bless you (Abraham and his descendants), I will bless. Those that curse you, I will curse. Gen 12.1-3.

So what RP? We wouldn't have to set one soldier on the ground to take care of Iran.Lemme see if I get this right. Drone is flying 5 miles from Iran's considered space (12miles offshore) two mind you, TWO Iranian fighter jets fired on this slow moving drone (135 mph max) with no defense against those fighters and MISSES??? ROTFLMMAO!!! How do these fighter pilots explain this to their Superiors? Geez General Mohamed it was traveling at lightning speed we just couldn't hit it.! lmao! If they can't hit a defenseless drone How are they going to hit one of our F-22 Raptor Stealth Fighter that can't be seen on radar and can fire an AMRAM fire and forget missile from 125 miles away from them and destroy six targets simultaneously from 125 miles away and can reach and sustain Mach 1.7 in SUPERCRUISE mode (For a very long time without afterburners VERY long range capabilities) and can out-fly easily any other fighter on the PLANET! reach top speeds of over mach 2 and can fire those missiles going into a full dive or turn at top speed. All I have to say is ALLah help them if they EVER have to go nose to nose with one of our boy's!

Agreed. I think an Israeli-Iranian war is unfortunately inevitable and it will only be a matter of time.

I don't like the idea of having yet another war in the Middle-East, yet I advocate for the defense of Israel, and if needed, the subduing of Iran and they're military.

Same here Tom. But we would'nt even have to set one boot on the ground look at what happened to that drone thing

What is this all about? The US sending troops to Israel for the purpose of encouraging BeBe's saber rattling?
Bad idea! What happened to "creating some daylight" between us and Israel? Must be the work of Israel's powerful lobbyists in DC! BeBe finally recognized the need to call for early elections since his own people are getting fed up!
This military exercise is ill timed and an extremely bad plan! Did our military fail to consult our Commander in Chief on this exercise?

War mongering is not what we need today! Obama had many "opportunities" to start another war in the Middle East and wisely chose to avoid this! Egypt, Lybia, Syria, Iran and Iraq (part three)! Very wisely we are not at war in these countries today. Thanks Obama! "Shock and awe" is NOT the answer!
Romney appears ready and willing to start more wars. I say to Romney:
When you convince your four sons to enlist in the military, then you have my permission to start another war! Your disrespect of 47% of our citizens who you would happily sacrafice in another war is disgusting! Send your own sons into harms way, then tell us what you think!
Be very careful who you vote for!

The Democratic response in this administration is to do nothing at all. Obama's days are numbered as the president, even members of his own party will distance themselves from his radical socialist ideas. The Democrates would be better off if they distance themselves from the Liberal extremes, the fringe will kill you if you let it. The U.S. is wise to move these troops within striking distance, dont start a fight with one foot in a bucket. Be ready to kick ass!

Well, Stan, you've told us what is NOT the answer, in your opinion. It's a pity you forgot to tell us what IS the answer. Coincidence?

What appears to be Jesus in a seance chamber is one of Satan's impersonating demons.

    12. Satan is telling many falsehoods regarding the second coming of Christ and, with lying wonders and miracles, will deceive millions. How can I be certain I will not be deceived?

"They are the spirits of devils, working miracles." Revelation 16:14. "And shall shew great signs and wonders insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect." Matthew 24:24. "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them." Isaiah 8:20.

Answer: Satan has invented many false teachings about the second coming and is deceiving millions into believing that Christ has already come or that He will come in some non-biblical manner. But Christ has warned us of Satan's strategy, saying, "Take heed that no man deceive you." Matthew 24:4. He then exposes Satan's plans and falsehoods so we will be forewarned, and He reminds us, "Behold, I have told you before." Matthew 24:25. For example, Jesus stated specifically that He will not appear in the desert or come to the seance chambers (verse 26). There is no reason to be deceived if we learn what God's book teaches about Christ's second coming. The acid test is this: What does the Bible teach about it? People who know what the Bible says about the second coming will not be led astray by Satan. All others will be deceived.

We must not become so busy that we have not time for Christ.
We must not become so busy that we have not time for Christ.

Christians & Free people of the world will come to call these the good ol days. Wait till the oil runs out & the air is too toxic to breath, we will learn to be humble or live like wolves.

you are doing the exact same thing by posting your beliefs Zbillz1. I actually started reading this blog because i wanted to see if anyone had a religious standpoint on the matter. So thank you gigir! I, unlike Zbillz1 appreciate reading various views on this matter. Some people just don't question life at all and instead decide to stick with 1 way of thinking and never question anything...shame.
