Fort Hood suspect's beard focus of another hearing

Attorneys argued again Thursday about whether accused Fort Hood shooter Maj. Nidal Hasan can be forcibly shaved so that his stalled court-martial can proceed.

Thursday afternoon's hearing at the Army Court of Criminal Appeals in Virginia was called to address Hasan's continued refusal to shave before court appearances, the Army said.

There are some interesting cut-off dates in this article but I don’t know if I see all of them middle to heart. There is some validity but I'll take hold opinion till I look into it further. Good article , thanks and we wish more! Added to FeedBurner as nicely

He still an officer in the US army. As dumb as it sounds, regulation still say no beards. If some guy went to basic, a legit Muslim, and said he couldn't shave due to his religon, Drill Sgt Hardass would go all Full Metal Jacket on him and force him to shave with a rusty razor WHILE doing push-ups and yelling at him in the most vile way. And no one would care.

If this trial would've been in a Sharia court, Mr Hasan would've been forced to convert to Islam first -including his family, then executed.

If he wants to grow a beard as a killer and a Muslim let him. Nobody cares. He is going to be sentenced to death and be flushed down the toilet, which is a proper and appropriate burial grond for this mass murderer. I hope he enjoys eternity in Hell.

    In Jesus name, AMEN MUTHERSUCKER!

He is going to die, today or tomorrow, bugger knows that too, but he is trying to leave behind a some kind of moslem super hero image with full grown beard. Don't grant his wish, shave SOB completely, military or no military regulations.
