Netanyahu asks U.N. to draw 'red line' on Iran's nuclear bomb plans

By Michael Martinez

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu exhorted the United Nations General Assembly on Thursday to draw "a clear red line" to stop Iran from developing nuclear weapons.

In a theatrical gesture, Netanyahu held up a cartoon-like drawing of a spherical bomb and drew a red line below the fuse, "before Iran completes the second stage of nuclear enrichment to make a bomb," he said.

"It's not a question of whether Iran will get the bomb. The question is at what stage can we stop Iran from getting the bomb," said Netanyahu, who also accused Iran of aggression.

"I ask, given this record of Iranian aggression without nuclear weapons, just imagine Iranian aggression with nuclear weapons," the Israeli prime minister said. "Who among you would feel safe in the Middle East? Who would be safe in Europe? Who would be safe in America? Who would be safe anywhere?"

wow, seems the knowledge of Americans are so limited regarding the Middle East.
Fact 1 : the M.east can be divided into to alliances ; US,Arabia,Israel in one side and Iran-Syria in alliance with Russia and china in other side. Iran has a strong ties with Russia and China buys oil from Iran.
Fact 2: any nuke or bombing in Iran will start the WW3, because China and Russia will come into play.
Fact 3: Iranian Government is anti-Zionist, not anti-Jews. we have 50k Jews living in Iran in peace. It is against Zionist state, and not perusing killing Jewish people.
Fact 4 : Any nuclear bomb in Neighboring countries will contaminate the area, Iran couldn't nuke Israel 'cause it's gonna affect environmental issues on Syria which is its friend.
Fact 5: Russia uses Iran as a channel to send weapons to Syria to prevent the Regime change.
Fact 6: US provides supply and weapons to terrorist groups such as PKK, MEK to undermine Iran.
So basically it's a dirty politics btw US and Russia/China, but Iranian and Syrians are paying a high price in between 😦

    Peace to all from Iran.

    PAKISTAN !!!!

Since Sep 11, 2001, over 200,000 Pakistani civilians, armed forces personnel have either sacrificed their lives or wounded; more than 3.5 million have been displaced while the country has lost over
US $ 1 Trillion due to terrorism.

Despite sacrifices, Pakistan was still engaged in 'the war for world peace”.

No other country has even come close to selflessly sacrificing so much.

Pakistan, no one can ever repay you enough for your contributions.
You deserve a permanent seat in the UN Security Council for your contributions to world peace and emergence of a new world order. We welcome your rise as the new regional military power. God Speed.

The one most successful aspect of recent American foreign policy has been the conquest of India without firing a bullet. That is the beauty of capitalism used as a Trojan Horse! Economic victory! Give them a taste of steak and they will never settle for hamburgers again. USA now owns India Inc. not only economically but also militarily as economic subjugation ultimately leads to military domination. The recent win for US multinationals has been pressuring the Indian Govt to open up majority ownership of domestic companies by foreign investors. US will now be virtually able to control the government policies in India via remote control in Wash D.C.

The take away is that US needs to find a similar mechanism Middle East/North Africa/South Asia to control events without having to depend on military dictatorships to do the biding. Economic subjugation appears to be the way out but what may be applicable to Hindus may not work in case of Muslims. That poses the dilemma that we are struggling with. Israel may have to be the sacrificial goat to make this happen, I am afraid.

IF AT ALL WE ARE SERIOUS ABOUT CUTTING THE HEAD OFF OF RADICAL ISLAM ONCE & FOR ALL – America and the entire free world needs to fight two DECISIVE Holy Wars:

    a) With PAKISTAN the mother of most of the world's Islamic radicalism and the owner of their "Self Declared" ISLAMIC BOMB, and a

    b) War with IRAN (Unless it can be prevented by weaning Iran away from Nukes) to stop any future annihilation of mankind with many other radical Islamic nations & Islamic terrorists in the ME acquiring nukes too.

The denuclearization of South Asia (Subcontinent) particularly India is imperative.
Quid pro quo transfer of nuclear technology by USA to third world countries such as India needs to be opposed on moral grounds. Billions of people live in that neighborhood and would be at risk from such catastrophes which I am sure the American people would not like to be a party to. We are all well aware that that region is prone to floods, earthquakes, tsunamis, massive power blackouts and of course terrorism placing such nuclear installations at tremendous risks. US Congress is urged to reconsider and cancel all the agreements for the transfer of such technologies due “Force Majeure”.

It's high time America understands the enemies within, such as CNN's own Mr.FAREED ZAKARIA who are MISLEADING us into believing that "IRAN IS A RATIONAL ACTOR", and also THREATENING America that a war with Iran will be seen as "yet another front" in America's perceived WAR ON ISLAM....something no other Muslim leader/journalist has suggested!!!!!

This is what he had said " If Iran is attacked, it would transform the debate into one about a western-supported attack on a Muslim country. It would completely change Iran's political and military calculus."!!!!

He's also FALSELY drawing parallels between Iran & the former Soviet Union, prompting us to let Iran go nuclear and expect a detente based on MAD (Mutual Assured Destruction) which the Islamists have no value for and a ready to give up their lives for a stint on heaven with ALLAH & the 72 virgins, unlike the atheist Soviets who believed in just one EARTHLY LIFE!

Having said that: I think Netanyahu made a huge mistake here. Firstly, he failed to mention that a RED LINE had already been set several years ago when Iran was warned not to enrich uranium beyond the 3% or so required for power generation, but Iran still went ahead to enrich upto 20% saying atht they needed it for medical Isotopes even though Russia, and Western powers were willing to provide them all the enriched uranium they needed for medical research.
Secondly, the new read line needs to be drawn NOT b4 Iran "COMPLETES" enrichment at 90% but JUST when they start that phase.

It's a NO BRAINER that Iran (unlike Iraq) is well on its way to develop nukes.....given that they don't need Uranium enriched beyond 20% for their oft repeated need for radio isotopes, and their well entrenched Missile program.
Nobody has ever developed missiles with a range of 2000 miles to carry a few 100 kgms of conventional explosives!
It's time we tame this Islamic demon now, and IDENTIFY the enemies within......just the way over 300 Million Americans, and over a Billion Non-Muslim Indian supporters of the VALIANT JEWISH people want us to do.

I'm surprised Obama didn't just walk up to Netanyahu, take that red marker away, and paint a red mustache under his nose. "This is where we draw the red line, when your nose high in radiation."
