agree with brian. i am also in the military 9 good years. and a lot of the people i have met who are overweight are the officer. right now i know a commander who is overweight and flagged for an apft failure.yes enlisted has an issue too but but Militar leaders to say we are too fat to fight is rediculous. I am very proud of our service members and what we have done and accomplished in the war. the armys ht/wt standard is stupi as well. i am 6'2 215 pounds am I fat? i think not. i pass my tape and PT test but im still over my max weight through the army standards.
So... The problem with childhood obesity is that they cant fight wars efficiently?
I am in the Military and if leaders are saying we are to fat to fight the might want to look at so of the people that are commanders and higher because that is where most of the fat ones are. Most of the guys that do the fighting and the hard work that are over weight can still do their job so back off the enlisted one and start at the top.
Too fat to even be of any use as cannon fodder. Hilarious.
Let me guess, now we're going too wage a 'war on fat'.
