Slain ambassador warned in '08 about extremists near Benghazi

In 2008, U.S. Ambassador to Libya J. Christopher Stevens warned in a diplomatic cable about a growing jihadist group in Derna, operating not far from Benghazi.

Stevens was killed this week in an attack that U.S. sources tell CNN was planned by a pro-al Qaeda group of extremists.

The cable was leaked in the trove that WikiLeaks released in 2010 and 2011, and CNN reported on it last year.

In his 2008 missive, Stevens wrote about the group, apparently operating in the port city of Derna.

"One Libyan interlocutor likened young men in Derna to Bruce Willis' character in the action picture "Die Hard", who stubbornly refused to die quietly," Stevens wrote.

INDIA: Between two Deities: KALI & PANCHALI

The problem with India is that is built on a system of cultural and societal values based on Hinduism which is a cult. Nations built on a cult seldom survive in the long run. Now just take a look at these two Hindu goddesses and the destruction and lack of morality they represent.

Goddess Kali's statue stands naked astride the inanimate body of the Hindu deity Shiva, tongue stuck out with blood dripping from fang-like teeth. She holds a noose, a skull-topped staff, a blood-encrusted sword and a severed head. Disgusting, to say the least. Would you want your kids growing up with such inspiration?

Meanwhile, goddess Panchali was married to five brothers. Which one would become the legitimate father of his child should she have one? Dr Charles (renowned author and an authority on India) says that instances of incest are common in Hindu scriptures. Decadent ! Immoral !

Talk about being between a rock and a hard place!!

Mohammed was a pedophile and taught violence. This only prooves that muslims LOVE to kill. Christians are quite used to slander against our religious figures and historical figures...we don't go and kill those who disagree with our opinions/beliefs.

You are the stupid laughing fool. For you to be so callous saying such a mean & insensitive thing to this man who fought hard to bring Gadhafi down and free Libya from a tyrant is unbelievable. Don't know why America even bother helping with the likes of you. People like you bring shame to your country. Shame on you – you have no soul. Disgusting!

Everyone reacting to his comments are exactly what he wants...the guy is looking for attention and a reaction out of the American people. Do not feed in to it-for all those reacting are only enabling him to carry on his objective. The guy post offensive remarks on just about every article-lets be smarter and not let it get under our skin. Chances are his ethnic background doesn't even match his name and he is one of those people that cant cope with society.
