Attack on U.S. vehicle in Pakistan leaves confusion over injuries

A suicide bomber driving a car filled with more than 200 pounds of explosives rammed a vehicle owned by the U.S. Consulate in the Pakistani city of Peshawar on Monday, injuring two Americans and two Pakistani's working for the Consulate, according to U.S. State Department officials.

There was confusion about the extent and severity of injuries as a result of the blast.

Victoria Nuland, a spokeswoman for the U.S. State Department, said "two U.S. personnel and two Pakistani staff of the Consulate were injured and are receiving medical treatment." No U.S. consular employees were killed, she said.

She said U.S. authorities were "seeking further information about other victims of this heinous act."

Nuland's statement followed an assertion by local Information Minister Iftikhar Hussain that two Americans had died in the blast.

Pakistani police and health officials said two Pakistanis were killed and 25 people were wounded.

    Sadly Gandhi
Among the various charges disclosed in the book: Gandhi not only slept in beds with young women under the age of 18, but also engaged in a long-term, gay affair with German-Jewish architect and bodybuilder Hermann Kallenbach, for whom India's peace icon at one point left his wife in 1908. As the Wall Street Journal reports:

This goddess was married to five brothers. Which one would become the legitimate father of his child should she have one? Dr Charles (renowned author and an authority on India) says that instances of incest are common in Hindu scriptures.

In many Hindu temples there are sculptures depicting men having s@x not only with men but also cows. What is the meaning of this? Is not the cow sacred? If it is, then it should be worshipped not s@xually assaulted!

The bottom line is that the only way to have peace in Afghanistan and lessen regional tension is split India into pieces. It has become too big to govern or create any value for western countries or even for its own population. We have invested a lot of resources in India over the past two decades and given a lot of aid to prop it up. There has been no investment on this return. Instead India has squandered all the resources in building nuclear weapons while poverty remains rampant in the country. We need to revisit our relationship with India. American taxpayers will not tolerate this anymore. We need to take care of our own populace going forward. We cannot be exporting jobs to India or giving it financial or technical handouts.

With such "Dark Age" culture still in existence in India how can the world be healthy and the neighbors prosperous. India poses a grave danger to the world and its deities and leaders set a bad example. Mahatma Gandhi, a pedophile, needs to be exposed and tried posthumously for his child molestation crimes just like the Penn State crowd Sandusky et al. Gandhi's statutes need to be knocked down everywhere they have been put in USA. The hindu deities need to be shattered and trashed. Disgusting figurines of ugly and scary looking characters with demonic personalities. How can hindu children grow up mentally stable looking at such atrocious representations of evil in its most heinous form.

INDIA: On a Goat and a Stick:

The problem with India is that is built on a system of cultural and societal values based on Hinduism which is a cult. Nations built on a cult seldom survive in the long run. You can only take it so far based on symbolisms of a goat and a stick with a skinny little man aka gandhi banging boys at night and spinning wheels during daytime.

No Mufti, we will not be number 1, you just like myself are a typical Pakistani who hopes for the better days but that is all he does. We will never change until and unless we changes ourselves. you don't become number One by wishing it. You want Pakistan to change well start the change in your own household – remember when Nabi received his revelation he was commanded to teach to his family first – teach your children to love their neighbor, teach them love Islam and humanity both, teach them Muslims and Non Muslims are equal, and we are not above anyone else in Pakistan, a country which has been hijacked by Molvis and illiterate ulemah, teach your kids to stop takfirism and terrorism and above all teach them to live a decent, honest life. That is what i am trying to teach mine.

While this is deplorable, what shocked me was a recent news article about an ongoing genocide in India. It is indicative of a total disregard of human lives. I would have thought that this would have ended with Kosovo and Bosnia. Perhaps it is time for USA and NATO to start bombing New Delhi as it did in Kosovo and Bosnia to stop this ethnic cleansing and murders. After all the military assets are nearby in Afghanistan and Bahrain and this could be accomplished with minimal cost.

Jonas I think you erred when you wrote bomb new delhi instead of lahore. When hard earned tax payers money going to Pakistan who in return siding with terrorists and china over USA. Well why can't we bomb the real culprits-pakistan once for all and solve the solution as very terrorist trace leads to PAKISTAN.

More evidence that the Pakistanis need to tell us where to get off and sue the Taliban for peace. First of all, Pakistan needs to rid itself of it's dangerous dependence on U.S. and European foreign aid and become more self assertive. Finally, the Pakistanis need to use their good offices to get NATO, the Karzai regime and the Taliban to the negotiating table in order to get a lasting peace in Central Asia.
