Nice to see that Condi is still a moron.
If they don't have arms, they would get slaughtered by their own government! Condi is right about this. When your own government is killing you, it's your duty to be a rebel! Osama then got enraged at that and began essentially talking down to them and he was banished from there and is forced to move into he mountains of Afghanistan which lead to him declaring Jihad on ALL Americans and her allies, September 11 happens and the U.S enters a long war in 2 main front Iraq and Afghanistan.
Now let me ask you, Would arming a rebel faction be wise considering the outcome of the past?
Doctor Rice, didn't you also buy into Dick Cheney's manufactured "intelligence" about Iraq's WMDs? That's what I thought. So, that being the case, what gives you the gravitas to pontificate about arming insurgents? Can you imagine the look on Bibi Netenyahu's face if he hears we have "armed" an alternative Syrian Army? If the Rebels manage to overthrow Assad and set themselves up as the new government, do you believe they will return what we sent them so as not to upset Israel?
