This is a holy war; the only way to win it is to want God in our lives and His wisdom in our government.
The primary message throughout the Qur'an is to follow the whole Bible. Jesus said to live by every word out of the mouth of God. Most of that is in what Christians call "the Old Testament." All the books of Moses are from the mouth of God.
We should be able to just correct their understanding of their holy book, live according to ours and find peace.

God made us Kings and Priests to guide our government and religious leaders when they are blind to God’s word. We must return to God's Sabbaths of No Work as written in Exodus 20:8-11 and Leviticus 23. September 16 begins 7th month feasts and Sabbaths. The penalty for ignoring God’s word is death. Leviticus 26 is God's Judgment, 4 x 7 curses for disobedience. BIBLEGATEWAY.COM has many versions and languages of the Bible. King James Version & Young's Literal Translation are very good.

All our ways reject God's wisdom. Our employment lifestyle is leading to extinction. Health Insurance, Obama Care and Medicare are not solutions, but obstacles. Call for God's garden paradise lifestyle; it solves our problems and gives good health.

We Americans have a moral obligation just to get out of Afghanistan. If our useless NATO allies want to run that country, then let them fight for it, not us!!! I guess that they don't have the guts to do that, the wimps!!!

Tell me something is there right now, just when was the last time that any European NATO country did anything on it's own and not at the behest of the U.S.? These countries will do anything that Washington tells them to do, no matter what. What the current European leaders sorely lack today is a moral compass and therein lies the problem!!!

The only reason you're "over there" is that you needed a paycheck, and were too stupid to be hired at the local Walmart.

Its about time we pull out of there with our troops and money, I don't hear Karzai apologizing to Obama about our troop loss for his country. Lets leave Afganistan, and let Karziai figure it out once we are gone. My condolences to the families and friends to the slain NATO troops.

It has now taken us longer to learn our lesson in Afghanistan than it took the Soviet Union. These people have never wanted to be a Nation. Nationhood was thrust upon them by the British and Russian Empires in the 19th Century and they have resisted the influence of every foreign nation since then. The people who live there (I will not call them Afghanis) do not identify with their nations, only with their tribes and clans. We should leave now before we lose any more to Green-on-Blue violence.

Far from being the word of God (al-Lah is just the Arabic name for God), most of the Koran is cobbled together from Jewish, Zoroastrian and Christian sources. Not even finished until at least 60 years after Mohammed’s ‘official’ death in 632 AD, it’s the ‘work’ of many people, not just that of the so-called ‘prophet’, who was a bandit, a killer and a pedophile (consummating a marriage with Aisha when she was 9!), all according to Muslim sources, as found in the Hadith (e.g. Bukhari).

What is good in the Koran can be found elsewhere in the sources I have mentioned, but in addition we find a lot of vicious and often self-serving stuff, where ol’ Mo’ writes surahs (verses) to serve his purpose of the moment.

The uneducated Arabs of the 7th century gobbled up all that nonsense, and the uneducated Arabs of the 21st century still do – like you, Saeed…

@ Joseph McCarthy: While the 'lingo' may leave something to be desired, I can certainly understand what's behind the previous comment: an utter frustration with the continuing spread of Islamofascism. And if you don't believe I am using the 'correct' term, let me tell you that I am a PhD and have studied Islam and its history intensively for five years now, and know EXACTLY what I am talking about. I doubt you do...

Jack B, at least you're not using that filthy Tea Party lingo like that bozo did below. That kind of lingo, like I said before, has no place here although stupid pro-war, comments do!

Hey you above, will you kindly cut that Tea Party lingo out, will you? Those of you who hate the Muslims the most, understand them the least! Like I said many times before, that Tea Party lingo has no place here as the English language is rather extensive enough to renderi it quite unnecessary!
