Navy SEAL to release book on bin Laden raid

A book company said Wednesday that it will release on September 11 a firsthand account of the raid that killed al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden.

Christine Ball, director of marketing and publicity for Dutton, a subsidiary of Penguin Group USA, said the book was written by a Navy SEAL under a pen name.

The book is entitled "No Easy Day: The Firsthand Account of the Mission That Killed Osama bin Laden."

About two dozen U.S. Special Operations forces and two helicopters were involved in the raid early May 2, 2011, in Abbottabad, Pakistan, that killed bin Laden.

Leave alone. Don't interfere. Let Arabs kill Arabs. Why do we want to stop progress? God is getting rid of our enemies for us. Don't be stupid. We do not need to waste any morehard earned money on these losers.

Wonder if this SEAL got his motivation from Bradley "Brianna" Manning?

Would love to see any Seal stand up to what "Brianna" is enduring.

Can anyone even imagine sentences like that coming out of Patton's mouth. I don't think so .. Patton wasn't a sniveling coward.

He was a dyslexic, insecure bully with a high-pitched, whiney voice.

I am sure the writer is donating all of the profits to the education funds of children of all the deceased special operators funds, either Seals, Green Berets, Rangers, Marine Recon etc, Delta and any of the other known and unknown named agencies, not just Seal Team 6........somehow I don't think thats where the money is going to go is it?

Why is it okay for this "person" to "kiss and tell"? what happened to "Seals don't talk"?

This cold blooded murder has been one of the most overglorified one in the annals of mankind! These clowns could have just as easily taken this man alive and flown him to Bagram AFB in Afghanistan instead, whoever he was! Besides, there is no glory in killing anyone!

Another comment from an Arab-hating, simple-minded Tea Partier. With all that right-wing hate mongering going on, this should be no surprise.

Sorry, but the guy wanted war, and he got it. Just because he caught the losing end of a bullet, does not mean its not fair. Just what he deserved, war means someone lives and someone dies, and it was a good thing that he died. Death is part of our society. We should not glorify it, but some do deserve it, and the US society demanded it. So we did it.

Taken bin Ladin alive? No such animal. If we had, there would have been terrorist acts all over the globe, mostly at our allies, to get him released. US cities would be armed camps. There would be calls to release him after the bombing of the first shopping maill or school. They did it the only way it could have been done.

First they criticized Obama for sharing information about the raid with public. Now they want to sell a book and make money out of it? May be seals can write... but can they think?

What an elite idiot. Politicizing a military operation, after criticizing the government for politicizing a military operation. Good to see the "minds" are still at NASA. lol
