EXCLUSIVE: Multiple Pakistan-Afghanistan border skirmishes in last year

U.S. troops have fired into Pakistani territory at least four times in the last 10 months in cross-border skirmishes that they say are in response to shelling from inside Pakistan, CNN's Nick Paton Walsh reports from Forward Operating Base Tillman in Afghanistan.

The revelation in Nick's exclusive report is likely to stoke already tense relations between Pakistan and the United States, which hit a new low after a NATO airstrike last year killed 24 Pakistani soldiers along the volatile border.

Read Nick's story here or watch his report above.

  1. someone in afghanistan...again.

ok now that everyone has ranted and passed their stupidity to the next shmuck, lemme let you in on a little secret....all of you are wrong. how did perceived jewish supremacy even enter the mix? sarcasm or not rabbi your a total moron. the rest of you clowns need to stop being whiny babies, stop believing everything you read, and understand that if pakistani soldiers are dead its because they were doing things they werent supposed to and they deserved it. eventually this new age bullshit pussy amercian manifesto will bite us in the ass and allow our enemies to overwhelm us because every civilian (non vet) is a big fat liberal vagina. most would rather sharpshoot and speculate sitting on their fat asses than do their part to crush the enemy. whats worse is you downplay and disrespect whats been/being done every chance you get as if you know what the hell your talking about. im sick of this nonsense. go back to your boring job and shitty repetetive life. we'll take care of this mess AND deal with the consequences because thats what real american men do.

Good on you mate. Do what needs to be done. You have a lot more support than the news reports would indicate. You know better than anyone that you will not get the reporting by the "journalists" that tells the whole story, and that can sometimes be hard to handle.

"The revelation in Nick's exclusive report is likely to stoke already tense relations..........."

And that reminds me of a remark made, several years ago, by one of America's most highly regarded journalists:

"If we had reported the War in Europe as we are reporting the war in Iraq, we would not have been able to defeat Hitler".

So, an excellent question: what role does irresponsible and uncontrolled "journalism" play in the continuation of hostilities in difficult conflicts?

You need to invade Pakistan, and better protect Israel.

What stupid Americans seem not to understand, is that Jews are chosen people.

We will reap the rewards of our faithful service to Yahweh.

The goyim of this world should be happy to fight over the scraps that we Jews throw from table.

Israel will reign supreme over earth, and anybody challenging that assertion will be conquered, with the help of US military.

You people may not like us Jews, but you WILL learn to fear us.

If a few of you must die to save a few of us....that's a bargain I can live with. Your own nations agree with me on this.

Your sacrafices are necessary to ensure the survival of the only democracy in the middle east.

  4. obama policies are foreign

ya things are everything from corrupt to a great victory of success in afghanistan , it all depends who is talking and what media post is reporting .
well we have all been wondering why the poppy fields are flurishing ? and now with the tiny tip of a hint of heroin abuse by nato troops that came to the forefront last week is doing nothing other than hurting the nato troops .
    obama policies are truly foreign.

You are displaying you lack of intelligence and knowledge. EVERYTHING has a cause and effect. Poppy crops are UP (along with opium supplies) because the folks that grow poppies are not stuck in the middle of a war / uprising! Duh! They went back to doing what they know how to do... grow poppies. You can't have it both ways. Poppies will be grown until something can replace them as an income source. Duh!

Oh.. so we bomb the crap out of them? That's your solution. Blow up the banks? That's a sensible move.. Duh!

ok i will go nice and slow so you understand,

the poppy fields are income for the taliban , in other words its a huge taliban bank roll , so lets plow the poppies into the ground and at the same time save lives by removing the heroin from the streets of america.
