Lawyer: Bales does not understand charges
In an exclusive interview airing 7pET on Erin Burnett OutFront, the lawyer for Robert Bales says his client doesn't understand the charges he is accused of. Bales was charged last week with 17 counts of murder in the March 11th killings in Afghanistan.
"He doesn't really have a good handle on what's going on," John Henry Browne tells CNN's Erin Burnett.

If you researched this even a little you would know that Bales had a large verdict returned against him for fraud. It is very likely these returned stints in the army were not mandated by army officials, but more of an attempt to avoid paying nearly $1million in fraud damages. If he makes himself available for deployment than the Army has their right to send hm where needed.

He was using drugs in the FOB where he was. Shooting up ketamine. It's a fact. FACT. Wait and see, all you people crying that he has TBI. You really don't know the facts. This WILL come out in a hearing.
Were there any American soilders who witnessed these murders or was it all Afghan accusations?
i suspect that there are many that could bring this animal to clearly understand in short order !
comunications occurs on many levels , and this lawyer does not speak the lingo that this animal comunicates on . ITS ALL ABOUT SPEAKING THE SAME LANGUAGE ON THE SAME LEVEL.

Oh shut up you arrogant and very boring individual ! This "animal" is a man who, having been BRAIN DAMAGED in Iraq, was then sent back into active service in a hostile environment by ARMY DOCTORS. They should be on trial for involuntary manslaughter. Cope!
Really is that all you can say? Cause almost everyone I know with a TBI does just fine without shooting up a village. Heck you can fall off a container while goofing off and get labeled as having a Traumatic Brain Injury... And with 18 years in the Army Active and time in both hot spots I can pretty much state that. You have to go through medical screening before, after, and a couple months after going and coming back either way. I have seen people get left in the rear for headaches. He snapped, it didn't take the TBI as the end all be all of why.
I'd say that they should give him a Blanket Party and let him see how it feels to not see his attackers. I'm so sick and tired of soldiers claiming PTSD or TIB just to get off for their actions. If the soldier passed his physical examination, then he needs to pay for the crime he committed.
Wow, setting up a defense in this manner with this premise? if he's tried by superior officers, he'll be fried dinner, military doesn't look kindly on people who don't show responsibility for their actions
The military should have thought of that before they sent a brain damaged man into a stressful situation! Some of us don't look KINDLY on people who do THAT either!
The soldier passed his medical evaluation...there was no evidence that this soldier was brain damaged... this soldier committed an act of violence and destruction, and got caught, now he needs to pay for the crime he chose to commit.
