Japanese Baseball Diplomacy

A group of Japanese youngsters in the U.S. on a sports exchange program finds baseball helps them cope with their loses from the devastating earthquake and tsunami. Jill Dougherty met up with the ballplayers.

    I am a volunteer with my local baseball association. We have extra equipment – bats, balls, gloves, shirts, bases, bags, and such. I'd like to explore sending the equipment to a needy Japanese Little League team. Can anyone help me out with a contact who could point me in the right direction?
