Iran and world powers agree to expert talks on Tehran's nuclear program

By Ivan Watson

Diplomats emerged Wednesday from an unusually secretive round of talks over Iran's controversial nuclear program with a joint announcement to hold a follow-up meeting within weeks.

In a joint statement, the European Union's foreign policy chief, Catherine Ashton, and the chief Iranian negotiator, Saeed Jalili, announced that technical experts would meet in Istanbul, Turkey, on March 18.

Political directors would later reconvene in this snowbound Kazakhstani city on April 5.

Iranian negotiators and representatives of the P5 plus 1 nations - the permanent members of the U.N. Security Council and Germany - entered into the talks Tuesday in Almaty, Kazakhstan, before the backdrop of fresh international economic sanctions against Iran.

Their crippling effect has fueled resentment in Tehran.

Of course there are different considerations between the Iran and the UN nuclear reactors in terms of ownership, and if the United Nations can provide the best solution to the Iran problem might be easier to discuss.

For example, such as "The mighty muscles that Arnold Schwarzenegger would be left free to make others afraid, but after he made film star Holly Wood, then by itself it might be happiness for all people. Society even more than that Mexico chose Arnold Schwarzenegger became Governor of the State them.

I believe that Iran is the same as with the nations – other nations to always create love – peace, because it must first think about the existence of "mighty hefty NUCLEAR MUSCLES" that has long been part of the Nation IRAN. .

America is the root of all terror. America has invaded sixty countries since world war 2.
In 1953 America overthrow Iran's democratic government Mohammad Mosaddegh and installed a brutal dictator Shah. America helped Shah of Iran to establish secret police and killed thousands of Iranian people.
During Iran-Iraq war evil America supported Suddam Hossain and killed millions of Iranian people. In 1989, America, is the only country ever, shot down Iran's civilian air plane, killing 290 people.
In 2003,America invaded Iraq and killed 1,000,000+ innocent Iraqi people and 4,000,000+ Iraqi people were displaced.
Now America is a failed state with huge debt. Its debt will be 22 trillion by 2015.

And I should add the stupid speech of George w bush that called iran among countries of evils! while iran got to a very nice agreement with UK for stopping enrichment when Khatami (the reformist) was president (read "last man standing", by jack straw) ... if that stupid action did not happen, we were in much better shape...

@john smith, well spoken and remember who created most of this evil, republicans!!Eisenhower in the "50 intervening in Vietnam and eventually after the Gulf of Tonkin incident went full bore into war..Reagan selling weapons like serin gas, surface to air missiles to dictators like Hussein,Kadafi to use on his own people but when cornered about the illegal sales that he covered up for the CIA about it Reagan exclaims he couldn't remember and Bushs two wars created with lies, unfunded of course and never put in the federal budget to balance and that's why Pres.Obamas budgets were so bloated!!Remember also to read just how many republicans actually fought in any military conflicts but advocate war and that's about 30% ,democrates the ones advocating diplomacy, peace actually in military service in conflicts overseas 70%..That should tell you to tell these armchair generals ,mostly republicans ,if they advocate war so much than send yourselves or your loved ones to fight their battles..Too many innocents have died for one cause and its not democracy, its money plain and simple the root of all evil is monetary greed!!

Israel's plan is for enticing us to invade Iran for their benefit! Sorry Netanyahu, your "friends" in Congress voted for a "sequester"! This means NO money for doing what you cannot do! Live with it!

Netanyahu was absolutely right when he drew the red line for Iran. Sanctions have forced Iran to hold discussions. The noose around Iran's neck needs to be tightened further with more crippling sanctions to make sure they don't even get close to the red line.

Yeah hang the noose? there is no noose, the government is not effected by the sanctions the citizens are, and you say make tougher sanctions, I guess you dont think about all the kids who wont be receiving any medical treatmen and die, or people starve because the price of food sky rockets, or ur just a pathetic evil human. America would be much better country if they did not have a trashy human being like you

Your hero, Netanyahu, is an idiot! he can draw all the "red lines" he wants but can't do anything about it! Netanyahu has been waiting for US troops to leave Iraq so they can be used for his "missions"!
Now, the story will be changing since Netanyahu's own people did not enthusiastically back him in recent elections!
Heard any rantings from Netanyahu lately? He is wisely keeping his mouth shut!

Gee Hahahahahahahah, you sound like another war happy Tea Partier. We need these talks to succeed and hopefully, avoid another useless and unnecessary war. Then again, the right-wing thugs in Washington want to make money and promote their political careers and are using the ignorance of the people to that end!

Has anyone informed Netanyahu of the "sequester"? His dreams of enticing us to invade Iran for his benefit just went up in smoke!
