The Petraeus affair: A lot more than sex

Unlike many stories about powerful Washington figures having secret affairs, the downfall of spy chief David Petraeus goes beyond sex.

The scandal surrounding the decorated four-star Army general who once ran the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan involves questions of national security, politics and even the September 11 attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi, Libya, that left four Americans dead.

Petraeus, 60, resigned Friday after acknowledging he had an affair with a woman later identified as his biographer, Paula Broadwell, 40, a fellow West Point graduate who spent months studying the general's leadership of U.S. forces in Afghanistan.

You're Tea Party? The biggest mistake in American politics! You want Dick Cheney back? You want goofy George W. back? You want more drug companies unregulated so they can klll us! You want more Gulf oil spills? You want more Katrina aftermaths? We "the people" cannot survive under unregulated big business!
Watch the program on History Channel "Men who made America" and get a clue! Under regulated big business is destroying our middle class, and so our entire economy! Greed does not bring success.

The 9/11 attacks in Benghazi should be blamed entirely on Ambassador Stevens. Stevens refused to return to Tripoli when he felt insecure in Benghazi. Surely he knew that Congress (including Paul Ryan) cut funding for his mission. Why did Stevens remain in Benghazi if he felt threatened? Now we hear from Paula Broadwell that there may have been some reason for this "terrorist assault". Pillow talk for sure! Security breach? Maybe, but only Stevens knows!

You are the most dis-respectful person I have ever seen in my entire life. You dis-respect and basically make fun of people who probably do more for this country than you ever will in your entire life.

I hope these 4 years go fast! All he knows is more regulations on the American people. He's a real sicky – – meanwhile he doesn't follow any rules or regulations himself. I hope he gets impeached for all his lies and crimes. And the people who voted him, you will get what you deserve.
